The LORD our God requires us, to fear [and worship] Him [with awe-filled reverence and profound respect], to walk [that is, to live each and every day] in all His ways and to love Him, and to serve Him with all our heart and with all our soul [our choices, our thoughts, our whole being]. (Deuteronomy 10:12) The source of truth is God Himself, so we start with Him, each day with our minds renewed, having been spent time reading His word and praying His truth. Jesus' word directs us to walk in His way, truth, and life. We walk in accordance with His commandments and are guided continually by His precepts.. (2John 1:6) God is the source of all truth, the embodiment of truth, and the ultimate reference point of all truth.
Jesus said to us, “I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life. (John 14:6) Walking before Him in faithfulness and truth and with our whole heart [entirely devoted to Him], and have done what is good in His sight. (2 Kings 20:3) This is what is good; the Lord requires of us, to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion), And to walk humbly with our God. (Micah 6:8) Whatever God says He will do He has done; whatever He decreed has come to pass. He declared it so and made it so. God, whose very nature is truth, truth in true in His nature, and true to His nature. We must trust and obey His written word and listen for His spoken word to speak to our hearts. When we pray and speak God's truth, we can trust that He will fulfill them, so stand in faith that He will do what He said He will do.
So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11) For Your faithfulness and lovingkindness are great, reaching to the heavens,
And Your truth to the clouds.
Be exalted above the heavens, O God;
Let Your glory and majesty be over all the earth. (Psalm 57:10-11) The Lord is not only steadfast but also faithful. In His steadfastness and faithfulness, we can be steadfast and faithful in Him and steadfastly walk in His truth.
