Do not be deceived, God is not mocked [He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, nor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside]; for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap. For the one who sows to his flesh [his sinful capacity, his worldliness, his disgraceful impulses] will reap from the flesh ruin and destruction, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap if we do not give in. So then, while we [as individual believers] have the opportunity, let us do good to all people [not only being helpful, but also doing that which promotes their spiritual well-being. (Galatians 6:7-10) The various circumstances we go through in life are not by incident but orchestrated by God with great purpose and intentionality.
There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1) Everything, even the most difficult experiences of life, will be “beautiful in its time." He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]--yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11) He who goes back and forth weeping, carrying his bag of seed [for planting],
Will indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him. (Psalm 126:6) The seeds of faith that we planted through obedience to God. Them seeds that we planted with time thru much toil and suffering have risen to a great harvest of joy and thankfulness. The past season has borne fruit. We're experiencing the spirit of harvest. We have sown the seed of the word of God by sowing good deeds, truth, and His love.
