Delight yourself in the LORD, And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)
The more time you spend in His word, also spending time in prayer, He will reveal His will to you. You will recognize His voice and hear from Him regarding your heart's desires. And where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also. (Matthew 6:21)
Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value] (Colossians 3:2) If we focus on earthly matters, our hearts will also be on those things, but if we focus on heavenly, our hearts also will be on these things. Setting our minds on things above means that our thinking and living revolve around Christ and His Kingdom ways. We give each day to the Lord, just as He has given us each new day. We give our lives to Him by serving Him, trying our best to live by His will, His word, and His ways each day. We yield our minds, wills, and emotions to Him.
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal,
for where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also (Matthew 6:20-21) Our top priority is God Himself. The treasures of heaven and the treasures of the earth aren't the same. The greatest treasure given to man is, and still to this day is Christ.
[For my hope is] that their hearts may be encouraged as they are knit together in [unselfish] love, so that they may have all the riches that come from the full assurance of understanding [the joy of salvation], resulting in a true [and more intimate] knowledge of the mystery of God, that is, Christ.
In Christ, who are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge [regarding the word and purposes of God]. (Colossians 2:2-3)
And He will be the security and stability of your times, a treasure of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; The fear of the LORD is your treasure. (Isaiah 33:6)
For the LORD Most High is to be feared [and worshiped with awe-inspired reverence and obedience]; He is a great King over all the earth. (Psalm 47:2)
