Blessed be the name of the LORD

From this time forth and forever.

From the rising of the sun to its setting

The name of the LORD is to be praised [with awe-inspired reverence]. (Psalm 113:2-3) For great is the LORD and greatly to be praised;

He is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the peoples are [worthless, lifeless] idols,

But the LORD made the heavens.

Splendor and majesty are before Him;

Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. (Psalm 96:4-6)

There is no one like You among the gods, O Lord,

Nor are there any works [of wonder and majesty] like Yours.

All nations whom You have made shall come and kneel down in worship before You, O Lord,

And they shall glorify Your name.

For You are great and do wondrous works!

You alone are God. (Psalm 86:8-10) Not to us, O LORD, not to us,

But to Your name give glory

Because of Your lovingkindness, because of Your truth and faithfulness. He will bless those who fear and worship the LORD [with awe-inspired reverence and submissive wonder],

Both the small and the great.

May the LORD give you [great] increase,

You and your children.

May you be blessed of the LORD,

Who made heaven and earth.

The heavens are the heavens of the LORD,

But the earth He has given to the children of men.

The dead do not praise the LORD, Nor do any who go down into silence.

But as for us, we will bless and affectionately and gratefully praise the LORD

From this time forth and forever.

Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!) ( Psalm 115:1,13-16-18) Bless (praise) the Lord,

Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul,

And all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name. For as the heavens are high above the earth,

So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear and worship Him [with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence. But the lovingkindness of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who [reverently] fear Him,

And His righteousness to children’s children,

To those who honor and keep His covenant,

And remember to do His commandments [imprinting His word on their hearts].

The LORD has established His throne in the heavens,

And His sovereignty rules over all [the universe].

Bless the LORD, you His angels,

You mighty ones who do His commandments,

Obeying the voice of His word!

Bless the LORD, all you His hosts,

You who serve Him and do His will.

Bless the LORD, all you works of His, in all places of His dominion;

Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul. ( Psalm 103:1,11,17-22) And they sang the song of Moses, the bond-servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,

“Great and wonderful and awe-inspiring are Your works [in judgment],

O Lord God, the Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all];

Righteous and true are Your ways,

O King of the nations!

“Who will not fear [reverently] and glorify Your name, O Lord [giving You honor and praise in worship]?

For You alone are holy;

For ALL THE NATIONS SHALL COME AND WORSHIP BEFORE YOU,

FOR YOUR RIGHTEOUS ACTS [Your just decrees and judgments] HAVE BEEN REVEALED and DISPLAYED.” ( Revelation 15:3-4)
